Cultural Programs

Promoting arts, heritage, and
cultural activities to connect and
inspire the community.

Community Initiatives

Supporting local residents, businesses, and volunteers through programs that strengthen community bonds.

Signature Events

Hosting major celebrations like the Taste of Asia Festival, Chinese New Year Lantern Festival, and other key Chinese cultural events.

Official Divisions

FCCM has four divisions to serve the community in different ways—supporting seniors, promoting culture, encouraging sports and recreation, and fostering business and networking opportunities.


Markham Chinese Seniors Association

A division that promotes friendship and well‑being among seniors through social, recreational, and cultural activities like mahjong, exercise classes, parties, and excursions.

Chinese Canadian Sports and Recreation Club of Markham

Focuses on sports, recreation, and social events, including badminton, basketball, picnics, Christmas parties, Scouts programs, and other activities that foster community participation.

Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Markham

The business division that supports local business networking, educational seminars, information sharing, and trade connections for entrepreneurs and professionals.

Markham Chinese Cultural Centre

A cultural division that provides classes, cultural programs, performances, and volunteer opportunities to promote Chinese culture and community engagement.
